There's a few things in this I'm not happy with (e.g. he's not smiling as much as in the reference...)... but I really like it, it's one of the first good pictures I've drawn of people on Stonehenge paper...
Time: About 4 hours, give or take. Paper: Stonehenge, natural tone. Medium: Derwent Graphic pencils, soft grade. (9B, 4B, 3B, 2B) ...and some hard grade pencils to sketch the initial outline.... Reference: [link] Note: I flipped the picture over, because for some reason I can't draw subjects facing the right as well as I can draw subjects facing the left... if only I was ambidextrous... Edit: I fixed up a few things and rescanned it, since my scanner is better than the one I used before. Edit #2: Sorry about the new watermark; unfortunately people insist on claiming my art as their own. This work is (C) to GothicXpress [and all other aliases] 2006-onwards. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
